Chambersburg Evening Lions Club recently collected its 100,000th pair of used eyeglasses in support of the Lions Recycle for Sight Program.
Bill loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, taking many trips with his son, Eddie. He loved watching Nascar and football.
Helen was a homemaker and babysat numerous children over the years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
Born September 28, 1930 in Greencastle, PA, Mrs. Diehl was a homemaker who enjoyed making crafts, baking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Thomas enjoyed cooking, knitting, and crocheting. Many of the hats, scarfs and Afghans she made were donated to veteran’s or children’s organizations.
Kay spent the majority of her career working as a freight rate specialist at the Letterkenny Army Depot, for thirty-one years, retiring in 2014.
Anna was most recently employed at the Coyle Free Library in Chambersburg. She enjoyed reading, cross stitch, needlepoint, Sudoku puzzles and shopping.
John spent most of his career practicing Pathology at Gettysburg Hospital and Chambersburg Hospital until his retirement in 2005.

Bonnie was very family focused; her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She also attended the Cleversburg United Methodist Church.
