2026 Shippensburg University Lacrosse

The Shippensburg University lacrosse team opens its 2026 season Wednesday with a nonconference home game against Wheeling.

Shippensburg returns 16 players from last year’s team and adds 12 newcomers. From an eligibility standpoint, the roster includes one graduate student, five seniors, six juniors, six sophomores and 10 freshmen.

The Raiders posted an 8-9 record in 2025, doubling their win total for the second consecutive season. Shippensburg had a five-game win streak, its longest since April 2004, and finished with a positive goal differential for the first time since 2012, scoring 207 goals and allowing 202.

Shippensburg opens with Wheeling before traveling to Georgian Court on Feb. 21 and hosting Jefferson on Feb. 28. The Raiders then play at Lock Haven to begin March and conclude nonconference play March 7 at Frostburg State. PSAC play begins March 11 at home against Bloomsburg.
