4th annual tree festival

festival of trees

The 4th Annual Festival of trees, sponsored by the Franklin County Visitors Bureau (FCVB), needs talented tree decorators who want to show off their holiday decorating talents. Decorated Christmas trees will be featured during the annual event at the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center over the holiday season.

The 2022 event opens on November 19 and runs through December 2. As always, admission to Festival of Trees is free. Again in 2022, Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance is the recipient of all funds raised from the auction of trees and voting.

In 2022, more than 65 trees and wreaths will be on display in the lobby and the second floor Great Room of the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center.

Join FCVB in bringing holiday cheer to Franklin County. Be a decorator; it is easy. FCVB provides the tree or wreath. Decorators select the FCVB-provided tree or wreath. From here, it is all about creativity and the holiday spirit.

A few trees, sized 3-feet to 6-feet, and wreaths are available for decorating. This is a great opportunity to promote your business or organization.

Trees and wreaths are sold via silent auction with all proceeds going to the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance! Visitors also vote for their favorite tree or wreath for a People’s Choice Award. Trees and wreaths are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Along with more than 65 beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, the Cumberland Valley Model Railroad Club will display a holiday train exhibit in the lobby.

New this year is Sharing the Heart of the Holidays, a partnership of Homeless Matters, Grocery Outlet, and FCVB to collect a variety of items to help community members throughout Franklin County.
