Trividia Health Issues Voluntary Recall of TRUE METRIX® Blood Glucose Meters

Trividia Health, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of 601 TRUE METRIX® Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose Meters, co-branded under the Good Neighbor Pharmacy® brand and distributed in the United States.

The affected meters are from lot number KD0746, manufactured on September 4, 2025, and distributed between September 8 and September 16, 2025. The recall was issued after the company identified a potential defect in the LCD displays that may cause partial or missing numerical segments or “ghosting” of characters, potentially affecting the accuracy or readability of test results.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the recall. However, Trividia Health warns that the defect could lead to misinterpretation or delay of blood glucose readings, which could be critical for users experiencing low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

Trividia Health will assist customers with return and replacement instructions for affected products. Meters from other lots are not included in the recall and may continue to be used.

The company has notified customers, including pharmacies, mail order companies, and distributors. The recall is being conducted in coordination with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Trividia Health, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, develops and markets blood glucose monitoring and health products under the TRUE brand and various store brand labels. More information is available at www.TrividiaHealth.com.
