Evenflo Recalls Certain Titan 65 Child Safety Seats Due to Missing Tether Strap

Evenflo Company, Inc. has issued a safety recall for certain Titan 65 child safety seats that may have been manufactured without a tether strap.

The recall affects Titan 65 child seats with the following model numbers: CS200312198, CS200311198, 3712198, and 3711198. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a child seat missing a tether strap may not adequately protect a child in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The recall is identified by NHTSA Recall Number 26C001.

Evenflo will advise owners to inspect their child seat to determine whether a tether strap is present. If needed, the company will provide a tether strap along with installation instructions at no cost. Interim notification letters informing owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed on February 20, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

Owners with questions may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.

Consumers can also use the NHTSA Recall Look-up Tool by entering the car seat brand or model number to determine whether their child seat is affected and to obtain additional information.
