Evenflo Recalls Revolve180 Litemax NXT Child Seats Over Safety Issue

Evenflo Company, Inc. is recalling certain Revolve180 Litemax NXT child seats because a miscalibrated level indicator could cause the seats to be installed in a more upright position than intended.

The recall, identified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration as 26C005, includes certain seats manufactured through March 31, 2025. Specific models and production dates are included in Evenflo’s recall report.

According to NHTSA, following the installation instructions with the affected level indicator may result in a child sitting more upright than intended. The seats do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213 for child restraint systems.

NHTSA said a child seat that is not reclined as intended can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

A remedy is still being developed. Interim notification letters informing owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed beginning September 1, 2026. Additional letters will be sent when a remedy becomes available.

Owners may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.

Consumers can also use NHTSA’s car seat recall lookup tool to search by brand or model and determine whether a seat is included in a recall. Owners of recalled seats should contact the manufacturer for additional information and remedy instructions.
