Julie A. Evans, 49, of Mercersburg, PA passed away unexpectedly September 12, 2026, in her home.
Born October 30, 1976, in Salem, Ohio, she is a daughter of Carol Ann (Ritchey) Evans, surviving of Alliance, OH, formerly of Mercersburg, and the late Hughie Paul Evans Jr.
A 1995 graduate of Nordonia School, in Macedonia, OH, she continued her education at the Medical Assistant Training Center in Cleveland, OH.
Julie was employed approximately 5 years as Practice Coordinator for the Kidney Care Center in Chambersburg, PA.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 606, Fort Loudon, and as a Harley enthusiast, participated in their biker group activities.
She is fondly remembered as having great love for her family and her Dachshunds were also very special to her.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, Carol, is a brother, Tracy A. Evans and his wife, Andrea, of Aliquippa, PA and 2 sisters, Lora J. McMahan, of Alliance, OH and Karen E. Evans of Flint, MI. Additional survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and her significant other, Jeremy Forrester, also of Mercersburg.
Her father, Hughie Paul Evans Jr. preceded her in death in 1999.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Lisbon, Ohio.
