The Raiders improved to 17-9 overall and 7-4 in the PSAC Eastern Division. Shippensburg has qualified for the postseason in five consecutive seasons and 19 of head coach Leanne Piscotty’s 22 seasons.

Jaiden Anderson totaled 44 assists, a team-high 19 digs and four kills. Shea Stevens added 18 digs. Shay Kolivoski finished with 13 digs and three aces while handling all 16 reception chances.

Shippensburg broke a 10-10 tie in the opening set with an eight-point service run by Anderson. Millersville took the second set after extending a 19-18 lead to 23-19 and holding off a late Raider rally.

The Raiders trailed 22-18 in the third set before a Montague kill and a five-point run on Kolivoski’s serve put them ahead 24-22. Millersville tied the score and fought off additional set points before kills by Davis and Blank secured the 28-26 win.

In the fourth set, a five-point service run by Alycia Miller helped Shippensburg build an 11-4 lead. The Raiders stayed ahead, and a solo block by Kylie Snyder ended the match.

Shippensburg finished with 58 kills to Millersville’s 41 and hit .188. Alex Nava led the Marauders with 11 kills and 15 digs. Millersville fell to 7-19 overall and 0-13 in conference play.

The victory marked Shippensburg’s first wins at Millersville in consecutive seasons since 2016 and 2017. The Raiders next play at West Chester at 1 p.m. Saturday.
