SHIP U.’s Nate Herb named to 2026 All-PSAC East Men’s Soccer First Team

Shippensburg University junior defender Nate Herb was named to the 2026 All-PSAC Eastern Division Men’s Soccer First Team on Tuesday. The league’s head coaches voted on the selections.

Herb, a Fleetwood Area graduate, was the only Raider to start all 16 games. He finished second on the team with three goals, all on set pieces.

Herb scored twice in Shippensburg’s 3–1 win over Bloomsburg on Sept. 9, earning PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week honors. He also scored the game-winning goal at Lackawanna on Sept. 23.

Herb earned All-PSAC East Second Team honors in 2025. He is Shippensburg’s first defender to make the first team since Austin Hill in 2011 and the program’s first two-time All-PSAC selection since Seth Crabbe, who made the first team in 2021 and 2022.

East Stroudsburg’s Steven Arias was named East Athlete of the Year, and West Chester’s Jaden Howard was named East Defensive Player of the Year. Shepherd’s Moulay El Yagouti earned East Freshman of the Year, and Ryan McDougall was named East Coach of the Year.
