A man with an outstanding felony warrant from Georgia was apprehended by Chambersburg police. The Chambersburg Police Department received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Orchard Drive on March 4 at around 12:25 a.m.
Upon investigation, the occupant, 78-year-old Gerald Spessard, was discovered to have an active warrant. Spessard was apprehended and is presently detained in the Franklin County Jail, awaiting extradition to Georgia.
