A fire at the Castle Hill Mobile Home Park on Sunday afternoon has resulted in seven people being displaced, with significant damage to the initial residence and moderate damage to neighboring homes. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. at the mobile home park located in Straban Township.
Responding to the blaze were the Gettysburg Fire Department, along with nine other mutual aid fire departments and two EMS agencies. The primary residence affected by the fire is considered a total loss, as reported by the Gettysburg Fire Department.
The American Red Cross is currently providing assistance to the individuals affected by the fire. As of now, the cause of the fire is still under investigation, and no injuries have been reported.
