Auto Accident on Lincoln Way East Involves One Injury Evaluation

On Wednesday, Franklin Fire Company units responded to a two-vehicle collision at the Dunkin Donuts on Lincoln Way East.

According to the department, the crash occurred shortly after Truck 42 returned from a fire alarm on Sunset Pike. Squad 41 and Engine 43, with nine personnel, were dispatched to the scene. Crews found a T-bone style collision, with one person requesting evaluation by EMS.

Firefighters handled debris cleanup and traffic control before clearing the scene.
