Penn State : Baseball Player Named PSUAC Hitter of the Week

On Tuesday following a 6 for 9 week at the plate, Brady Bigler was named the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference baseball’s hitter of the week.

What Happened

 In game one of the weekend series against Penn State Greater Allegheny, Bigler helped lead a Penn State Mont Alto comeback with a triple to leadoff the 8th inning and he recorded the winning hit in the following inning.

In game two, Bigler went 3 for 4 including a RBI double in the second inning. In game three, he walked twice and stole a base while scoring two runs. On the season, Bigler is batting .313 with six doubles, two triples, 22 runs batted in and 17 stolen bases.

Penn State Mont Alto’s baseball team will participate in the first round of the 2022 PSUAC Playoffs when they face Penn State Fayette on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.. The game will be played at Showers Field in DuBois, Pa.
