Benjamin “Ben” Robert Taylor 1990-2023

Benjamin “Ben” Robert Taylor, age 33, of Aspers, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg.

He was born August 23, 1990 in Gettysburg, as the son of Robert Allen and Debra Ann (Cline) Taylor.

Ben graduated in the Class of 2009 from Biglerville High School. After high school, he went on to work in the plumbing trade. He also worked many jobs after high school while attending trade school.

In 2010, Ben studied HVAC at YTI in York, PA. Currently, he was employed as an HVAC/R Specialist with Trump Plumbing and Heating, LLC in Aspers, where he was gratefully mentored over the years by Jeff Trump.

He was a current member of Orchard Springs Fellowship Church in Aspers and a current member of the Good Samaritan Lodge No. 336, Free & Accepted Masons in Gettysburg. He was also once a volunteer firefighter for Heidlersburg VFD, Station 25.

In the little spare time he had, he enjoyed running to Home Depot and working on his projects, but most of all, Ben enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. His family remembers him best for having the biggest heart for helping others in need.

In addition to his parents, Ben is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Faith LeeAnn (Koons) Taylor of Aspers; two wonderful sons, Jackson Curtis Taylor, 7, and Bennett Thomas Taylor, 2; sister, Rae Ann Stup and her husband, Joel of Fairfield, PA; three nieces, Ellie, Hayden and Cora Stup; maternal grandparents, Curtis Leroy and Josephine Ruth (McNair) Cline of Gardners and sister-in-law, Tessa (Koons) Munshour and her husband, Nick.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Eugene Taylor and Gwili (Thomas) Taylor.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville.

Celebration of Life Services will be announced and held at a future date at the family’s convenience.
