Beulah M Briggs (Gamble), 82, of Fayetteville, formerly of Spruce Creek, went home to her Lord November 20, 2021, in Chambersburg Hospital. She was survived by her husband of 63 years, Arthur L. Briggs, Sr. who followed her in death 17 hours later that day.
Born June 19, 1939, in Perulack she was the last surviving of 14 children born to the late Robert Daniel and Maud Alice (Smith) Gamble.
Beulah was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake, crochet, garden, do puzzles and enjoy cookouts with family and friends.
She had been a member of the former Cross Keys Methodist Church and Church of the Good Shepherd in Tyrone. She was a member of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene in State College and was recently attending Grand Point Church, Chambersburg.
Surviving are her children: Arletta Sible (David) of Warriors Mark, Wanda Snyder of Spruce Creek, Patricia Unger (Jeff) of Chambersburg, Helen Kugler (Daniel) of Fayetteville, and Arthur Briggs, Jr. (Tuesday) of Manheim and a daughter-in-law, Cara Briggs of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert, a son-in-law, Kenneth Snyder, Sr., a great great granddaughter, Hayley Sheffield and 13 siblings.
Viewings for both Beulah and Arthur will be Wed., Nov. 24, beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by their funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run with Pastor Lawrence Metzler officiating.
Interment Upper Tuscarora Cemetery, Lack Township.
