BOROUGH TO REPAIR WATER MAIN ON WAYNE AVENUE AND ORCHARD DRIVE 8/22/2024, VEHICLE ACCESS RESTRICTED

Please be advised that on Thursday, August 22, 2024, the Borough of Chambersburg Water Department will repair a water main on Orchard Drive at the intersection of Wayne Avenue. Work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. During this time, there will be no vehicle access permitted from Wayne Avenue onto Orchard Drive, however, vehicle access from Orchard Drive onto Wayne Avenue will be permitted.

The Borough apologizes in advance for this inconvenience and thanks vehicle operators for your patience while this water main work is completed.

Carl worked hard all his life; retiring from the Fulton County Partnership as a transport driver after 17 years of employment.

Ruth Murphy 1943-2026

Ruth volunteered at Gospel Tide, Shook Home and the House of Grace. She worked at the Chambersburg School District fore over 25 years.

Ann B. Thomas 1938-2026

Ann graduated from Biglerville High School and went to work at Knouse Foods. She worked there most of her life having numerous roles there.
