Britax Child Safety, Inc. is recalling certain child car seats because a screw in the carrying handle may come loose, causing the handle to partially detach.
The recall includes certain B-Safe Gen 2, B-Safe Gen 2 Flexfit, B-Safe Gen 2 Flexfit Plus, B-Safe 35, B-Safe Ultra and Endeavours child seats. Specific models are listed in Britax’s recall report.
According to the recall notice, a child could fall if the carrying handle partially detaches, increasing the risk of injury.
A remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by Oct. 19, 2026.
