Mr. Bryan M Strausbaugh, 37, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 23, 2022, in his home.

Born January 25, 1984 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Charles L. and Ruth J. (Stoudt) Strausbaugh of Waynesboro.

He graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 2003. He later received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Penn State University in 2007.

Bryan worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones, BB&T Bank in the Washington, D.C. area and several offices of Allstate Insurance. He also managed an Airbnb in the Arlington, VA area. He was currently employed at the Amazon Distribution Center, Hagerstown, MD.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rouzerville, PA and the Waynesboro Fish and Game.

Bryan loved spending time with his dogs, Teddy and Kipper. He also enjoyed gardening, caring for his fruit trees, family trips to their lake house at Deep Creek Lake (MD) where they went boating and tubing, watching TV, football, hiking in the mountains, fishing, and trying new foods.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Adam M. Strausbaugh and his wife, Alma of Frederick, MD; five step nieces and nephews, Brigitte, Nicholas, Kayla, Leslie and Jacob; one aunt, Mary Licht; two cousins, Karl Licht, Jr. and Robert Licht; and his fiancé, Maureen Beach and her children, George Spencer Beach, IV and Theresa Beach.

He was preceded in death by his stillborn infant son, Westin Lee Strausbaugh; grandparents, Wayne and Claire Stoudt and Leo and Frances Strausbaugh; and his uncle, Karl Licht.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, 43 S. Church Street, Waynesboro. Masks are encouraged. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday evening, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
