Carlisle Man Charged After Reported Gunfire on South Hanover Street

Carlisle Borough Police arrested Jeffrey D. Fink, 52, on Oct. 14 after responding to a report of a man firing a gun into the air in the first block of South Hanover Street.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 12:21 a.m. Police said the man fled on foot. At approximately 7:30 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at the residence where Fink was staying and took him into custody.

Fink was charged with recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, persons not to possess firearms and violating the borough ordinance prohibiting firearm discharge. He was arraigned at Magisterial District Judge Birbeck’s office.

Fink is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
