The Cumberland County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program is seeking additional volunteers to support abused and neglected children in the child welfare system.
Volunteers are assigned by the court to serve as advocates for the best interests of children involved in dependency cases. CASA representatives work closely with children, caseworkers, and the court to help ensure timely and appropriate outcomes.
The program is currently recruiting to meet increasing needs within the county.
