CASD To Hold Special Board Meeting June 2

The Chambersburg Area School District will hold a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to interview candidates for a vacant Region 5 school board seat.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the boardroom at the CASD Administration Building, 435 Stanley Ave., Chambersburg.

Following the interviews, the board will hold a voting meeting on the 2026-2027 budget and appoint a new school board member.

The meeting will be streamed on YouTube for those who cannot attend in person. CASD said the livestream and recording are provided as a courtesy and are separate from the official meeting minutes required under Pennsylvania law.

Meeting agendas are available through BoardDocs. Approved official meeting minutes are available on the CASD website and maintained in accordance with CASD Policy 800.
