Mrs. Hackenberg enjoyed gardening, working outside, traveling, and most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Powers enjoyed traveling around the world. She also enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, crocheting, and especially cross-stitch.
Born June 8, 1934, John was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He pastored churches in New York and Pennsylvania.
Kenny enjoyed riding his motorcycle, was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and in younger years, played a lot of softball.
Mr. Alfaro was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15, Waynesboro and former member of the Frankfort Optimist Club, Frankfort, KY.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, Waynesboro, Grove Worldwide Retirees and the National AARP. She loved and enjoyed her cats.
Thomas retired from Ingersoll Rand, Shippensburg. He enjoyed almost everything outdoors as he was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Born July 22, 1931, Chester retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot. He attended the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church, Newville.
Patty had attended the Open Door Church in Chambersburg and her hobbies included latch hook, word books and collecting stuffed animals.
Dorinda worked as a dietary manager, at several of the local area nursing homes, She enjoyed being outdoors, walking her dog, and running.
Harvey loved farming and was a third generation farmer on the Diehl family farm. He enjoyed most of all spending time with his family.
Shirley enjoyed crocheting. She made many prayer shawls for her church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Karen retired from Corning Glass, Greencastle, where she worked for 32 years. She enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and archery.
Jane developed considerable sewing skill to make clothes and household items. She even made her daughter’s wedding dress, bridesmaids and flower girl gowns.
Marvin served as a volunteer firefighter with the Franklin Fire Company Station 4 and also volunteered with the fire police.
Doug was currently employed as a material handler at Volvo-Mack Truck, Hagerstown, MD were he had worked for the past 16 years.
She was a graduate of Hustontown High School. Ms. Laidig was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Chambersburg and was very strong in her faith.
Dorothy loved her blended family and was always ready to open her home and heart to them, as well as anyone who needed a place to lay their head.
John was of an extremely generous nature and heart, along with being a good father and husband; there was never a dull breakfast in his house!
Rod loved sports and enjoyed playing on local baseball and softball teams. He most recently played in the Fifty and Over League in Chambersburg.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed crocheting, reading, scrap booking, visiting her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In Mercersburg, Mrs. McClintick was a teacher and played an important role in community politics, serving two terms as Borough President.
A dedicated grandfather, affectionately known as “Pappy”, he will be remembered as a loyal husband who loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
Dick was involved in church activities at Middle Spring Presbyterian, Little League and Scouting. This included his active role in the Maroon and Grey Club at SHS.
As a second career, Jim worked as a Realtor, retiring in 2017. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, gardening, and yard work.
Born December 10, 1944, Bill was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Sheffler was a life member of William Max McLaughlin VFW Post #695 where he served as Past Commander and with the military order of the Cooties.
Delores married her husband C. Glenn Daugherty on March 4, 1967.She and her husband operated a dairy farm on Welsh Run Rd. for many years.

Roxie graduated from James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg and was employed in maintenance and also worked as a handyman.
Doris was very active in the United Methodist Women. She was also a longtime volunteer at the United Way in Chambersburg.
He loved his family above all else, and had a special love for the many cats and dogs who blessed his life over the years.
Elden loved photography and an avid train collector. He photographed countless events including the Greencastle Old Home Week.
George will be remembered for his love of his family as well as his curiosity, kindness, and desire to live a simple and happy life.
Bob enjoyed camping, antique collecting and woodworking in his workshop. He started the seedlings for his vegetable garden every year.
Born June 6, 1927, Ethel retired from the Beistle Company in 1986. Ethel was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg.
Joe enjoyed working on his lawn and creating a welcoming environment where he loved spending time with his extended family and friends.
Born Saturday, January 22, 1944 in Shippensburg, Sally worked at the former Stanley Company and was a graduate of the Big Spring High School.
