Born November 15, 1985, Brian resided in Franklin County for a number of years and worked in sales and service primarily from his home.
John enjoyed anything automotive, including puttering around on his and his children’s vehicles. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting.
Mr. Mummert was an avid Civil War reenactor, who loved Philadelphia sports, all kinds of music, singing karaoke and watching westerns.
Ronda enjoyed arts and crafts, especially scrapbooking. She also was a huge lover of all animals, caring for four dogs and two cats at home as of late.
Adam owned and operated New Beginnings Archery and More on Taneytown Road and in Covington, VA. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter.
Mr. Shockey was employed at Landis Tool Company, Waynesboro, as an electrician. He retired in 2005 after more than 40 years of service.
Chrystal was a graduate of Catoctin High School in Thurmont, MD with the Class of 1999. She later completed studies to become a CNA.
Gary had always been outgoing, and while he didn’t play sports, he had always enjoyed watching sports. He also liked to play the piano and organ.
Kelly was a caregiver for Med Staffers, she enjoyed doing diamond art and loved sunflowers, the beach, her dogs, but most of all, she loved her children.
Mr. Barz worked as the plant manager for the former J. Schoenaman Company until his retirement. He enjoyed golf, and watching the Yankees and Giants play.
When September arrived each year, Glenn looked forward to Friday nights and cheering on his Warriors at high school football games.
Mr. Reeder worked as a painter for J.J. Smith for 30 years, retiring in 1985; he went on to operate his own painting and wall papering business.
Lawrence devoted his life to helping others, especially children and veterans. He enjoyed hunting, camping, doing yard work and was an Irish storyteller.
Tim loved spending time with his grandchildren most of all, but also enjoyed restoring and showing tractors. He also liked to spend time outdoors.
After raising her children, Mary Lou was employed at Bonton, formerly Eyerly’s and Margred’s Bridal Shop, in Chambersburg.
Gladys was a graduate of the old St. Thomas High School and worked at The Stanley Company in Chambersburg. She loved the outdoors.
Dick enjoyed watching NASCAR and rooting for Dale Earnhardt. He was an avid Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers fan.
Shade was currently in 11th grade at Waynesboro Area Senior High School and enjoyed being a member of the wrestling team over the years.
Emma was a very selfless woman who was always willing to set her own needs aside in order to serve her family and her friends.
Mr. Beatty enjoyed attending the Mercersburg Senior Center, spending time with his grandchildren, watching Fox News, and his dog, Lucy.
Mrs. Martin primarily worked as a home seamstress. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, being involved in church activities, and canning.
Freja Lake Eichorn, infant daughter of Adam Joseph Eichorn and Leah Cummings Troup-Eichorn passed away March 5, 2023 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.
Bren worked in various capacities in the Chambersburg area over her lifetime, including as a florist, in retail, and most recently as a school bus driver.
Charlotte retired from the Register and Recorders Office of the Franklin County Courthouse. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Leroy graduated from the Gettysburg High School and was a United States Army National Guard Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Twyla was born January 25, 1965 in Carlisle the daughter of the late Lester Irving Neidigh and Stella P. Salisbury Baker. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Judy graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia. She attended college prior to marrying and starting her own family.
Evelyn was Evangelist Evelyn Washington at Full Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ in New York, pastored by the late Bishop Jerome Norman.
An avid collector, Mr. Nicarry sought wood carvings, guns, and antique cars. He cherished going to the cabin and the family beach house.
Mr. Rosenberger was employed by Millers Furniture Store, Waynesboro for 20 years and later at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.
Ronald grew up on a farm and did farm work until he began working as a welder for Jerr Dan. He worked at Jerr Dan for 34 years, and retired in 2005.
Born on March 29, 1949, Gordon worked for Hepburnia Coal Company, Benjamin Coal Company, and Ventura Foods. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Ted enjoyed pitching horseshoes, hunting, drinking a cold Miller Lite, and camping at Saunderosa. Ted was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Bill faithfully helped Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny at annual Community and Church events, and he loved helping kids.
A unique and brilliant person, Gunlög is remembered affectionately by her many family members, friends, colleagues, and students.
Kristine loved nature including hiking, camping, and gardening. She enjoyed cooking elaborate meals, taking road trips and playing a good game of Scrabble.
After military service, Mr. Hoover worked as a mechanical engineer at GS Electric in Carlisle, PA from 1973 until the plant closed.
Austin was a very caring and compassionate young man. He was always there to help anyone in need. He was loved by many friends and family.
Lila enjoyed spending her time baking in the kitchen and taking care of her flowers. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
