The Chambersburg Area School District is distributing donated school and classroom supplies to schools across the district following the annual Stuff the Bus campaign organized by the United Way of Franklin County.
Volunteers from the district’s Administration Office recently sorted and packed more than 40 boxes of donated supplies.
Each Chambersburg Area School District school will receive boxes containing items including backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, folders, paper, headphones and other classroom supplies.
The donations were provided by local businesses, organizations, community groups and individuals. The supplies will be available for students and schools to use throughout the school year.
