From time to time, Town Council of the Borough of Chambersburg is called upon to appoint citizens to various Boards, Commissions and Committees that assist in furnishing advice and other services essential to the conduct of local government.
Town Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the following Boards, Committees and Commissions:
Recreation Advisory Committee (1 vacancy): Must have knowledge of the community. Must be Borough resident.
Zoning Hearing Board (1 vacancy for regular member and 1 vacancy for alternate member): Must have knowledge of land development, construction or the law. Must be Borough resident age 18 or over.
