Christina Louisa Jones 1941-2023

Christina Louisa Jones (Weller), 82, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.

She was born September 12, 1941 in Hagerstown, Md the daughter of the late Leonard A. and Mary L. (Schmidt) Weller Sr.

She was a 1959 graduate of James Buchanan Jr./Sr. High School and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mercersburg.

Chris worked at J. Schoenman Co. as a Supervisor for 36 years.

She was well loved, enjoyed being with other people, bowling and loved to travel.

Surviving is her husband of 22 years, Harold T. Jones, a brother, L. Alfred (Joan) Weller Jr., sister, Mary (Jay) Bohn and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nephew, Douglas Weller.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Sellers Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Mentzer officiating.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
