Cumberland County Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 81

A man from Cumberland County died in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning on Interstate 81. The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-81 in Antrim Township, Franklin County.

Mark Cramer Jr., 33, of Newburg, lost control of his motorcycle, a 2020 Harley-Davidson. After being separated from his motorcycle, which ended up in the median, Cramer was left in the roadway. Preliminary evidence suggests he was then struck by a tractor-trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident led to the closure of part of I-81 for nearly five hours.
