CHAMBERSBURG (Sept. 28, 2019) — Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons and in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out our many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.

Little Galaxy: A Sassy Little Guy Who Loves to Play

Little Galaxy is looking for a new home. Do you have room in your heart and home for this feisty little guy?

Little Galaxy came into the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know much of anything about his past.

We think he’s about 6 years old and this sassy little guy loves to play with his squeaky toys!

Because of having no past history, an age restriction for children may apply, so please discuss this with shelter staff. Galaxy would love to meet you and show you what he’s all about!

Twitchysniffer Is a Rex Rabbit Who Loves to Explore

Twitchysniffer is a Rex rabbit who loves to explore. Isn’t he adorable?

Twitchysniffer was surrendered to the shelter because her owners could no longer care for her. She is a sweet girl that loves to explore and does not seem to mind the company of other rabbits.

Twitchysniffer is a rex rabbit so that means she has the softest fur you will ever touch!

Potential adopters are encouraged to do their research on bunny care and behavior before choosing one as their companion.

Do you have the right place for her?

Tansy Is a Tiger Striped Tabby That Loves to Play

Tansy

Tansy was brought into the shelter as a stray so we know very little about her short past.

Tansy is a sweetie and has been quite the charmer since she arrived. Tansy enjoys playing on the cat trees here at the shelter and loves to play with just about any toy!

Tansy will make someone a wonderful and loving companion!
