GREENE TOWNSHIP — Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.
CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.
Oh, Wyler Is Quite a Fellow.
Wyler is a 4-month-old gray-and-white tabby guy who has been through a lot for his young age.
When he came to the shelter as a stray, we found he had a pretty sizable hernia. Once he was old enough for surgery, it was discovered that his rib cage seemed odd.
Further tests revealed his xiphoid process is curved.
None of this stops little Wyler, though. He’s an active kitten with TONS of personality. He’s going to make someone an amazing companion.
Meet Snow. Look at That Face!
Snow was surrendered to the shelter because her owners could no longer keep her.
She is a 10-year-old Lhasa Apso mix who is just the sweetest girl. Look at that face! She is also deaf, but that doesn’t stop her at all.

Meet Littlefoot
Littlefoot was brought into the shelter as a stray, so we know very little about his past. When he arrived the poor little guy was soaked in what could only be guessed as urine. After a good clean up (daily brushing and his own grooming routine) Little foot looks way different from when he arrived! He doesn’t seem to have been handled much, but is quickly learning that people have treats and give great ear rubs! Littlefoot will need someone that understands he will need some time and patience to learn that humans are good. It is recommended for potential adopters to do their research on rabbit care and behavior before deciding on one to be their forever companion.
