Delanie was born on September 23, 1996, in Chambersburg, PA.

A Loving Mother, her daughter Arrietty was everything to her. She loved and cherished every moment with her. Arrietty was the most important part of her life.

Delanie had several professions. She worked at Target Distribution Center, Photo This, Dollar General, Citicorp and Gardens by Grace, LLC. She made friends everywhere she was employed. She actively participated in many fundraisers and community events.

A talented musician and songwriter, Delanie started playing the drums at 3 years old and went on to play piano, violin, guitar, and many other instruments. She performed with her band for several years.

Delanie is survived and deeply missed by her daughter Arrietty Davies, her parents; Kevin Polca and wife Melanie, Darla K (DK) Guyer and husband Dale, Brother Jorgan Strathman, step-sisters Allexa Branham and Brelyn Guyer, step-brothers Drew Guyer and Dane Guyer, and Grandfather Daniel Polca.

She will be forever remembered and cherished by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and dearly loved friends; many of whom she called family.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Rose and Paul (Pete) Harnish and Rita Polca, and step-brother Dylan Guyer.

Delanie was a bright light to your day. She would drop whatever she was doing to come to your rescue no matter how far she had to go. There were no limits to her generosity. Delanie’s kindness will remain in the hearts and lives of those receiving precious moments of her time.

Please join the family at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave. Chambersburg, PA on January 28th, 2023, at 11 a.m. to celebrate her life. A memorial service will follow at noon.
