Donna K Bonner 1941-2024

Mrs. Donna K Bonner (Heefner), 82, of Fayetteville, PA and formerly of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday morning, February 5, 2024, in her home.

Born March 4, 1941 in Chambersburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert E. Heefner, Sr. and Mary C. (Bell) Heefner.

She was a graduate of Waynesboro Senior High School with the Class of 1959.

She and her husband, the late Kerry L. Bonner, were married September 28, 1963 in the Mont Alto Methodist Church, Mont Alto, PA. Mr. Bonner died on April 27, 2019.

Mrs. Bonner was employed as a marketing assistant at Frick Company, which became Johnson Controls, in Waynesboro. She retired in 2007 after 27 years of service.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her home.

She is survived by a brother, Dr. Donald L. Heefner and his wife Mary of Waynesboro; a sister, Rebecca A. Miller of Quincy, PA; a sister-in-law, Mary E. Heefner; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Robert E. Heefner, Jr. and one brother-in-law, Stephen R. Miller.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Mont Alto United Methodist Church, 10 S. Main Street, Mont Alto, PA, with Pastor Loretta McClure officiating.  

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Thursday afternoon, in the church.
