SHIPPENSBURG (Thursday day, Oct. 3, 2019) — Police have active arrest warrants for two men they say contributed to the drug overdose death of Logan Lynch, 22, of Shippensburg, last spring.

Lynch died March 3 after he and Darby Scott, 23, Shippensburg, used heroin that Scott had allegedly bought from Moises Segura, 24, of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Shippensburg police obtained an arrest warrant today for Segura and Scott. Both are charged with:

  • F1 Drug Delivery Resulting In Death
  • F Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver
  • M1 Involuntary Manslaughter

Police say Lynch’s death was a result of a drug overdose where Scott and Segura provided the drug.

According to police, Lynch and Scott were together during the early morning hours of Sunday, March 3. At about 4:30 a.m. Scott bought heroin from Segura while at the East King Street Sheetz Convenience Store.

When Lynch and Scott left Sheetz, Scott gave Lynch a packet of the heroin and both used the drug, police said.
