Takeim Samir Drake has been charged with felony drug possession, misdemeanor drug paraphernalia, and summary public drunkenness after allegedly giving police a crack pipe.
On February 5th at approximately 11:45 pm, Pennsylvania State Troopers received a call about a suspicious person on Scotland Main Street. The caller reported that a man and a woman had parked their car in the victim’s driveway and were vomiting and intoxicated before leaving on foot.
Upon arriving on the scene, police allegedly discovered the vehicle on Main Street with open alcohol containers in the center console, along with unopened cans. Thirty minutes later, the troopers found Drake, who claimed to be the passenger in the car.
However, Drake was allegedly very intoxicated and speaking irrationally, leading police to take him in for public drunkenness. Further investigation revealed that Drake was also wanted for an unrelated burglary.
During Drake’s arrest, police allegedly found a clear glass smoking device containing unburnt crack cocaine in his sweater pocket. Without prompting, Drake reportedly told the police that the device was a pipe before handing it over to them.
Drake is currently being held on an additional bail of $50,000.
