Edna Geraldine Bowers

Born December 24, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Edna G. (Walker) Wheeler. She was the devoted wife of Leroy P. Bowers.

Besides her husband, survivors include; Karen Sue Miller and her husband Jeff of New Providence, PA, and Julie Anne (Kuykendall) Wikoff of Fairfield, PA, four grandchildren; Ben (Katie) Miller, Amanda (Kaz Hashimoto) Rispoli, Alyssa Rispoli, and Anthony (Katie) Rispoli, great grandchildren; Oliver Miller, Ashtyn Miller, and Emmie Hashimoto, one sister, Betty Hoak of Gettysburg, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, John S. Wheeler, Jr.

First and foremost she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived her life as a servant, caring for and loving all those around her. She devoted her life to her loving husband, and her family.

She loved the beach looking for dolphins and pappy taking her on all their adventures. Back in the day she enjoyed her bowling league. She was for sure the mini-golf champ. She cared more for others than herself.

She adored her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She wants to leave you with this thought “Go love you family while you can”. Don’t put off til tomorrow what you can do today.
