Elderly Woman’s Mobile Home Destroyed in Franklin County Arson Incident

On April 30th at 12:30 a.m., the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall Unit began investigating an arson incident that resulted in the complete destruction of an elderly woman’s mobile home in Franklin County. Troopers confirmed that the fire was intentionally set.

The single-wide mobile home, located on the 1200 block of Shimpstown Road in Montgomery Township, was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Thankfully, no firefighters were harmed while extinguishing the blaze.

The authorities are actively searching for any leads related to the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. Individuals with information can contact PSP Chambersburg at 717-264-5161.
