Libby was born in Shippensburg, PA February 27, 1913 to the late Ralph W. Warden and Emma Gertrude Warden (Glessner). She was one of six children and the last of her immediate family.

Libby was aged 109 years, 6 months. She often attributed her long, blessed life to coffee and lots of talking. Her sense of humor and grit were admirable and contagious. Libby was a devout Christian of Lutheran faith and led a life full of light. She took great pride in her home and had a keen fashion sense. In her younger years her hobbies included shopping, traveling, shopping, floral arrangements, shopping, decorating, and shopping.

In her later years Libby enjoyed spending time with family, while being doted on by her nieces and nephews from age 2 to 82. Lots of coffee, singing and laughing were a daily occurrence. Libby’s laughter, spirit, advice, and golden heart are a great loss to her family. She is and will be greatly missed by every life she touched. Her kind and gentle nature are irreplaceable.

We love you, Aunt Libby. We like you and we love you.
