EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH: D.L. Martin Co. Recognizes Jeff Ficks

The D.L. Martin Co. recognizes Jeff Ficks as Employee of the Month for April. Jeff lives in Little Cove and has been with the company for 14 years. He is a Machine Operator in the CNC Department. His supervisor, Zach Farley, is a Production Supervisor who has been with the D.L. Martin Co. for 5 years.

To eliminate unnecessary machining time and raw material waste when making Navy shims out of .750” thick plate, Jeff suggested making the shims using plate that is only .375” thick.
