Aug 4: 2nd Annual Pride Franklin County

The goal of Pride Franklin County is to increase the visibility of our LGBTQ community.

The goal of Pride Franklin County is to increase the visibility of our LGBTQ community and their contributions to our community, as well as to bring the LGBTQ community and straight allies together to celebrate diversity, acceptance, and respect in Franklin County.

Pride Franklin County incorporates traditional Pride elements and activities while maintaining a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere. An initiative of the Franklin County Coalition for Progress, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Pride Franklin County relies on the generous support of corporations, businesses, individual donors and volunteers.

11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. | Vendors, Food Trucks & Kids Activity Station

11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. | Free HIV Testing – Free, confidential HIV swab testing provided by Keystone Community Outreach. Participants cannot drink alcohol before testing. *Located in The Orchards Meeting Room

11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | Welcome Presentation - Including Bob Ziobrowski, Franklin County Commissioner; a Representative from the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs; Nathan Strayer, PRIDE Franklin County Chair

11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. | Drum Circle - Interactive flow space with hand drums, hula hoops and dancing space.

12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. | Drag Show - Featuring: Kalorie Karbdashian from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Lolli Cox, Dita DeVille, Siren Kelly, Chasity Vain, Asia Monroe, Jade DeVere, Araya Sparxx, Volkie Versace, Skarlet Overkill, Danielle DuPree, Desiree Coutour, Lujack Chakotay, Catarina Coutour, Chi Chi Ray Colby, James Bohndage, Aurora F. Sterling, Stephanie Micheals, Anastasia Diamond, and Madison St. Lawrence.

1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. | What is PrEP? – Dr. Tirupathi will provide an overview of PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, an HIV prevention method in which people who don’t have HIV take HIV medicine daily to reduce their risk of getting HIV if they are exposed to the virus. *Located inside Relax

1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. | DJ Side Kick – Enjoy beats from DJ Side Kick on the Pride dance floor.

2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. | Eve Larsh – Music by Eve Larsh. *Located inside Relax

2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Devin Fields and Friends – Live musical performance.

3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. | Dance Class Followed by Dance-Off – Dance instruction by Brandon Riojas with dance-off host Kalorie Karbdashian.

3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. | Drag Finale – An amazing group number to end with an exciting grand finale!
