Come to Stoner’s on the Square in Mercersburg for a meal or a pint on Sunday, October 20th from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and they will donate 15% of your bill to Rotary International for Rotary’s fight for polio eradication.
This special Stoner’s Sunday Fund-Day will raise awareness of polio and help eliminate this devastating disease.
The Rotary Club of Mercersburg has been at the forefront of this fight for many years and you can help them win this battle by enjoying a meal at Stoner’s on this special Sunday Fund-Day. Polio, or poliomyelitis, is a paralyzing and potentially deadly infectious disease that most commonly affects children under the age of 5. The virus spreads from person to person, typically through contaminated water. It can then attack the nervous system.
Rotary International has been working to eradicate polio for more than 30 years. As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary International has helped reduce polio cases by 99.9 percent since their first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.
Won’t you help the Rotary Club of Mercersburg by coming to Stoner’s on the Square on Sunday, October 20th between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.? You can enjoy a delicious meal or pint and help a worthy cause.
Stoner’s Sunday Fund-Day donation of 15% of your bill will help eliminate this devastating disease.
