Adult Virtual Story Time
Join us each Thursday at 9:00 AM on the library’s Facebook page for our weekly virtual story time. Each week is a different fun story and each month is a new book.
You are invited to attend our BOOK CLUB! There are a limited number of spots so please call the library to register. This group will meet on the first and third Friday of each month from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.
Zentangle is the art of creating beautiful designs using repetitive patterns, giving one a sense of accomplishment and well-being. Come join us on Monday, May 9th from 1:30 – 2:30 PM to learn more about what Zentangle art is all about. This class is free; however, registration is required at the library.

Gamesboro Gaming Group
Come explore history through strategy board games with us. This program will be held at Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This program is a regular program at the library on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
Hooks & Needles
Come join us on Thursday, May 12th at 1:00 PM and work on your stitching project – crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, embroidery, etc. Bring your projects — bring your questions. Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library hosts this program the second Thursday of each month.
Senior Book Bingo
Seniors over 60 — come play Book Bingo with the library at the Waynesboro Senior Activity Center. Playing is free and you can select a book for every game that you win.
Walking Librarian Monthly Walk
Join Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library at Conococheague Institute on Wednesday, May 18th at 9:30 PM for our monthly walk. Bring your camera or cell phone with you and participate in our photo scavenger hunt. This monthly walk is scheduled at various locations about the county on the third Wednesday of every month.
How to Deal With Crisis
What does crisis look like? How do you defuse a crisis situation? How do you keep yourself safe in a crisis situation? Where can you find help? Join us for this informative session and get a truer picture of what crisis really is and ways to deal with it. In order to make a change, you must be a part of the change. This program will be held on Wednesday, May 18th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. It is free and open to the public.

Come join us from 10:30 to 11:30 AM for Bingo fun on Saturday, May 21st! All Bingo supplies will be provided. May’s prize theme is books!! This program is free of charge; however, we will accept donations at the program to help defray prize costs. This is not a program designed for children. Space is limited so please call or stop by the library to register.
Diamond Painting: Dandelion Wishes
Come join us on Monday, May 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for this fun class where you will learn the techniques needed for our Dandelion Wishes picture. This is a great item to make for yourself or to give as a gift. Class size is limited so registration is required. A non-refundable registration fee of $5 must be paid at time of registration. Please note, this fee is a registration fee only and not a material fee — only those who are in attendance for the class will receive the diamond painting kit. Stop by the library to register.
Author Visit & Book Signing: Beverley Driver Eddy
Beverley Eddy is coming back to the library again on Wednesday, May 25th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. This time she will be discussing her book, “Camp Sharpe’s Psycho Boys. Please note REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED at the library. Call or stop by the library to get your name on the list of attendees! A limited number of Ritchie Boy Secrets and Camp Sharpe’s Psycho Boys will be available to purchase at this event.
Coloring & Chocolate
Come enjoy this relaxing time of coloring for adults at the library. The program is held on the 4th Thursday of each month. This month we will meet on Thursday, May 26th at 1:00 PM. The library provides supplies and a chocolate treat. This program is not designed for children.
Getting Into the Workforce
Need a resume? Help searching for employment? Looking for online classes? For help with these and other job search areas, plan to join us on Friday, May 27th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. The presenter for this program is Amy Kuipers from PA CareerLink. Additional sessions will be offered with different topics in the coming months. This program is free and open to adults.
Senior Hooks & Needles
Bring your crochet, knitting, needlepoint, embroidering, rug hooking, or other handwork project that you are working on. Share information on your project, learn a new craft or just come to share with other like-minded people. The library is hosting this program at the Waynesboro Senior Center on Friday, May 27th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. It is open to seniors 60 years old and older.
