Ezra H Graley obituary 1951~2021
Mr. Ezra H Graley, 69, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 in his home, after an extended illness.
Born July 10, 1951, he was the son of the late Earl H. and Eleanor (Wolfe) Graley.
He graduated from Sherman High School in Seth, WV. He began working in the coal mines at the age of 14.
He married the love of his life, Lisa A. (Kirk) Graley in 1977. They made their home in Greencastle about 30 years ago. Lisa did the blue prints and Ezra did the construction of the home in which they now live. Ezra being a skilled carpenter, built every home in which they lived. After moving to Greencastle, he worked for Certainteed, Williamsport, MD for several years before he retired due to health issues around the year 2007.
Ezra was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker and a “born” supervisor who didn’t hesitate to share his wisdom with anyone who would listen. His family will fondly remember the many cookouts at their home and his delicious hotdogs he prepared on the grill. They will greatly miss seeing him sitting in his favorite chair, where he often sat enjoying the view out of the window. Ezra loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored!
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Clark Graley and his wife, Amanda, whom he considered to be his own daughter, of Hagerstown, MD; two grandchildren: Marshall Graley and Isabelle Harsh and many brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling the arrangements.
On-line condolences may be expressed for Ezra H Graley at the funeral home’s website.
