Advance-ticket event will support the church’s building and community outreach funds
Faith Fellowship Church of God will host its 2026 Benefit Chicken BBQ Dinner on Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, located at 447 South Fayette Street in Shippensburg.
Presented in partnership with Kelso’s Kickin Chicken, the fundraiser offers community members an opportunity to enjoy a complete barbecue meal while supporting the ministry and community work of Faith Fellowship Church of God.
Each $15 dinner includes:
- One-half barbecue chicken
- Baked potato
- Roll with butter
- Baked beans
- Coleslaw
- Applesauce
Proceeds from the event will benefit the church’s building fund and its ongoing community support efforts. Through its ministries, fellowship opportunities and outreach programs, Faith Fellowship Church of God seeks to provide a welcoming place for spiritual growth while serving individuals and families throughout the Shippensburg community.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets may be purchased online through the church’s official Givebutter event page or by texting “KICKIN” to 53-555. All meals must be picked up in person at Faith Fellowship Church of God on the day of the event between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to purchase tickets early and invite family members, friends and neighbors to participate.
