Fannett Metal Crew Assists With Land Rescue

Fannett Metal Fire and Ambulance Inc. assisted with a land rescue after Squad 12 was requested to the 9-18 box at 19:56.

According to the department, a subject was located approximately 25 feet down a steep embankment. Squad 12 arrived with seven personnel and deployed two rescuers down the embankment to assist with patient extrication.

Crews used a 3:1 mechanical advantage system to safely remove the patient from the hillside.

The department credited the crews on scene for their teamwork during the incident.
