FCCTC Ag Mechanics Program Gives Students Hands-On Equipment Experience

The Franklin County Career and Technology Center’s Ag Mechanics program provides students with training in the maintenance and service of engines and equipment.

Ag Mechanics is a career and technical education program title unique to FCCTC. The approved program of study covers safety, electrical circuits, cooling and fuel systems, exhaust systems, tools and fasteners, welding, engines and engine failures, and starting and ignition systems.

Students gain experience working on outdoor power equipment, agricultural equipment, ATVs, recreational motorsport equipment, automotive equipment and heavy equipment.

The program allows students to apply technical skills while maintaining and servicing engines and equipment of various sizes.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township

Residential and recreational areas in Hamilton Township will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes beginning around sunset on Sept. 8.  Areas to be sprayed include but are not limited to: Sollenberger Road, Johnson Road, Leedy Drive, Holly Lane, Hamilton
