Students from the Franklin County Career and Technology Center will visit CAMS South next week for the 3rd Annual Careers Road Show.
This Careers showcase, under the direction of Steve Grove, gives 8th grade Related Arts students a chance to explore FCCTC offerings as part of their Career Readiness program.
The Road Show, held in the CAMS South Gym, consists of stations representing programs provided to FCCTC students.
These FCCTC programs will be represented:
- Dental Assisting
- Veterinary Assisting
- Landscaping and Horticulture
- Electrical Occupations.
- Graphic Communications (11th only)
- CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing)
- Automotive Technologies
CAMS South Students will split into small groups and rotate between the various stations. There they get a chance to experience include hands-on activities related to each program.
FCCTC students interact with 8th graders, telling them about their program, what their typical day looks like, what they can expect as potential FCCTC students, and what career options exist for their particular program.
