Firearm Discharged Twice into Car in Chambersburg Borough

On Friday the 8th, Chambersburg Police Department took a report about damage to a vehicle caused by gunfire.

During the investigation, two bullet holes were found on the vehicle’s driver-side rear door.

Details are not very specific, but it is estimated that this occurred between July 3rd and the 6th on the 200 block of South Second Street. There was no indication as to what type of firearm may have been involved in the discharge.

It should be noted that the bullets did not strike anyone, only the vehicle, which was unoccupied at the time.
