Florence Rogers, of Chambersburg PA, also known to her family and friends as Teddy, entered into rest on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at home.

Born on March 15, 1951 in Lancaster PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Charlotte Ressler, and the sister of the late JoEtta Dornes of New Holland PA.

Florence worked as a housekeeper for Willow Valley Hotel, Willow Street PA until she moved to Chambersburg where she worked for Sunny Way Foods in the Deli in Chambersburg PA.

She was a member of the Spirit of Christ Community Church in Chambersburg.  She was a devoted mother, her faith in the Lord was very strong.

She enjoyed working in her flower bed, she was a faithful contributor to the 700 club and loved spending her time with her precious cat Carbonzo.

Florence is survived by her son Michael Witwer of Hancock, MD, granddaughter Kayla Witwer and great granddaughter Madison of Fayetteville PA. She is also survived by her friends Terry Kochart of Chambersburg and Robin Ray of Chambersburg who helped her with her health care needs. She is also survived by her friend Rick Kline of Epharta  PA.

There will be a celebration of her life on Thursday evening December 2, 2021 from 6 – 7 p.m. at Kelso Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave Chambersburg, PA 17201.
