Fulton County Medical Center congratulates Rowen Revercomb, a student in Mr. Field’s 4th-grade class at Forbes
Road Elementary, for his outstanding creativity and originality demonstrated during the school’s recent Career Day challenge.
As part of the event, FCMC Public and Community Relations Director Misty Hershey challenged students to design a promotional flyer for a new fictional store of their choosing that would be opening in Hustontown. Students were encouraged to think like entrepreneurs by developing unique business ideas and persuasive marketing strategies.
Rowen’s flyer stood out among his peers for its original store concept and an effective call to action, which included a compelling incentive: a 50% discount for the first 10 customers. His creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of marketing principles earned him special recognition. Rowen’s concept store “Home of the Disc Golfer” won him $25 cash prize.
Fulton County Medical Center (FCMC) was pleased to participate in Forbes Road Elementary’s Career Day and to support hands-on learning opportunities for students. FCMC enjoyed sharing insights into the wide range of careers available at the hospital, highlighting opportunities beyond medical professionals and showcasing how many different skill sets contribute to healthcare success.
