pa flag

The Forward Party endorsed State Rep. Valerie Gaydos, a Republican from Moon Township, Pennsylvania, as she seeks reelection for the seat she has held since 2018. This endorsement marks her as the first Republican legislator in the House of Representatives to affiliate with the Forward Party. Gaydos cited the party’s commitment to reducing political extremism and fostering bipartisan cooperation as key reasons for her decision. Andrew Yang, co-founder of the Forward Party and former Democratic presidential candidate, praised Gaydos for her dedication to her constituents and her willingness to collaborate across party lines.

Additionally, Forward has endorsed other candidates from various political backgrounds in Pennsylvania, including Democrats Anthony Williams and Lisa Boscola, and Republicans Cameron Schroy, Seth Bluestein, Steve Zappala, and Joe Rockey. Eric Settle and Chris Foster, also affiliated with Forward, are running for Attorney General and Treasurer, respectively.

The party aims to build a bipartisan and bicameral presence in the state legislature by affiliating with both Republican and Democratic legislators who support its value-based platform.
