Franklin County Career and Technology Center leaders met with the Franklin County Commissioners to recognize the development of a new Protective Services Program.
The Franklin County Commissioners, county government and emergency services officials have been involved in planning the program. The commissioners committed $100,000 toward equipment, training and facility needs.
The Career and Technical Education program is intended to provide training pathways for careers in law enforcement, fire service and emergency services while addressing local workforce needs.
