Franklin County Sheriff’s Office deputies apprehended three wanted individuals in Chambersburg and Antrim Township on Sept. 2.

Deputies located Angel Perez-Rodriguez after observing someone matching his description near North Main Street in Chambersburg. Perez-Rodriguez was wanted on a felony probation violation warrant related to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.

According to the sheriff’s office, Perez-Rodriguez entered the Coyle Free Library on South Main Street. Deputies located him inside and took him into custody without further incident.

In a separate operation, deputies went to a residence on Montgomery Church Road in Antrim Township while searching for Dwaine Heinbaugh Jr. and Shayla Noll.

Heinbaugh was wanted on failure-to-appear warrants related to charges including terroristic threats, driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. He was also wanted by the Waynesboro Police Department on charges that included possession with intent to deliver and evading arrest on foot. Noll was wanted on an Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts warrant.

Deputies used Flock license plate recognition technology during the investigation. The sheriff’s office also deployed its drone unit and K9 Moose after receiving consent to search the residence.

Heinbaugh and Noll were found hiding in the attic and taken into custody without further incident. Both were transported to the Franklin County Jail.

Following Heinbaugh’s arrest, Pennsylvania State Police filed additional charges against him, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
